Enduro's TorqTite bottom brackets are manufactured to the highest standards, ensuring parallel alignment and quiet, creak-free, low-friction pedalling. These bottom brackets use a threaded centre sleeve for a perfectly aligned and creak-free installation.
This complete bottom bracket features 440C stainless steel angular contact bearings to provide long life and superior corrosion resistance, even in hostile environments. This includes resistance to salt water from roads, spilled sports drinks, and pressure washing after a muddy ride. Enduro uses LLB dual lip groove seals with a high-pressure grease in these bearings to additionally waterproof against the elements.
Since these bearings are 15° angular contact design, they require a light preload to guarantee the best adjustment. Some cranksets have pre-load systems already built in, but if yours does not, or if it is made of plastic, Enduro recommends a machined aluminium pre-load adjuster for DUB and 30 mm cranksets.
